Dr. Michelle Chen Awarded Pilot Grant

It is with excitement we share that ADNI Scholar, Dr. Michelle Chen was awarded a pilot grant from the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Center (CMSC) to study digital biomarkers of lifestyle behaviors in multiple sclerosis (MS).

This achievement will augment her current K23 study (funded by NIH) examining the role of modifiable lifestyle risk factors for cognitive decline among older adults with MS, which uses surveys to elucidate lifestyle behaviors. The CMSC pilot grant will add digital measures of lifestyle, using wearable and mobile devices.

The Health Equity Scholars Program is so proud of all that Dr. Chen continues to contribute to the research community in the field of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Please join us in congratulating Michelle on this well-deserved accomplishment!!
