The Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) is a longitudinal, multi-center, observational study. The overarching goal of ADNI is to validate biomarkers for Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) clinical trials.
The ADNI Engagement Core (led by Drs. Ozioma Okonkwo and Monica Rivera Mindt) is dedicated to increasing the engagement of all populations in AD research and cultivating a dynamic workforce to more effectively diagnose and treat them. By providing mentored training in basic, clinical, translational, and community-engaged research concepts to a cohort of emerging investigators, the Engagement Core aims to equip these trainees with the tools necessary for success in conducting innovative dementia research.
